A great follow-up to Wine 101, this course further explores five “modern day” classic grape varieties from the field to the table. Focusing on lighter style wines, we will explore sensory recognition and structural components of sugar and acidity. After honing our identification skills, we will cover grape growing and winemaking techniques that impact wine quality and create the aromas, flavors and structure we experience in the glass.
